USEFUL Things in case of emergency

 

1) Food Storage- Canning supplies, honey, dry beans, rice, hard red wheat, canned goods, vegetable oil and shortening, pressure cooker, salt (iodized and canning), MREs, grain mill, powerded milk, ammunition boxes, can openers, food-grade containers, vitamins, cast-iron cookwear, yeast, bleach, etc.

2) Water Storage and Purification- Water tanks, 55 gallon drums, 5 gallon buckets, other water containers, iodine, hand pump, gravity-fed purifier, tarps, hand pumps, etc.

3) Heat and Light - Sleeping bags, cold-weather jackets, sturdy wool clothing, wood-burning stove, cross-cut saw, generator, candles, kinetic energy flashlight, headlap, lanterns, etc.

4) Gardening Supplies- Open-pollenating seed bank, shovels, hoes, hoses, fencing, stakes, etc.

5) Camping and Backpacking Supplies- backpack, tent, hiking boots, sleeping bags, camp stove, stove fuel, etc.

7) Tools- Cross-cut saw, hand saws, tin snips, carpenters brace, measuring tape, screwdrives, other non-electric tools, honing oil, duct tape, sharpening tools, etc.
